Acupuncture works best when a functional problem is the cause of infertility, specifically when endometriosis, ovulatory problems or hormonal imbalances are the cause for not getting pregnant. Research studies demonstrates that during the first three weeks of pregnancy women with high cortisol levels (cortisol is a hormone responsible for several stress related activities in the body) are nearly three times more likely to miscarry than women with normal levels of cortisol. The study found that miscarriages were 2.7 times more likely among women with increased cortisol levels. Miscarriages happened after an average of about two weeks of pregnancy. 90% of women with high cortisol levels miscarried in the first three weeks of pregnancy. 33% of women with normal cortisol levels miscarried in the first three weeks of pregnancy. The latter group also had higher rates of miscarriage stillbirth (20%) compared to those women who had received acupuncture (8%). APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment. It is, therefore, requested that if you must cancel your appointment you provide more than 48 hours notice. This will enable another person who is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled. Appointments which are cancelled with less than 48 hours notification will be subject to a full cancellation fee. The Cancellation and No Show fees are the sole responsibility of the patient and must be paid in full before the patient’s next appointment. Questions about the cancellation and no-show fees should be directed to the Management or Accounts Department by emailing info@westlondonosteopathy.co.uk

PREPAYMENT OFFERS & REFUND POLICY ON PACKAGES
Requests for refunds should be made in writing to info@westlondonosteopathy.co.uk. There will be a 20% admin fee on any refund including packages.
If in case due to unforeseen circumstances you have changed your mind about your treatment, please let us know in good timing i.e. within 12 days. Cancellations and refunds are available within 12 days of purchase.

We can't offer refunds or exchanges on treatment (services) rendered. If you haven’t attended the clinic within 30 days, it will be assumed that you are unable or have become an inactive patient and your file will be removed. We are able to accept payments by cash or card. We are currently able to take MasterCard, Maestro, Apple Pay. We also accept payments online via invoice or bank transfer on arrangement.
